Invisalign Streamlined by In-Office Tech

Digital Impressions of Your Smile

We’ll use a high-tech handheld device called an iTero scanner to help plan your Invisalign treatment. A typical scan takes only 10-15 minutes, and our team can use what was captured to create a virtual model of your teeth.

High-Res Images of Your Teeth and Jaw

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanning technology helps us get a better picture of your jaw and bone structure. Paired with iTero, our team can get an extremely detailed understanding of your smile — and what supports it.

Getting the Bite Right

We use a tool called a T-Scan to read the force and timing of your bite, or occlusion. We use these findings to develop a personalized treatment for you. With us, you can rest assured your renewed smile will be as functional as it is beautiful.

FAQ
About Invisalign

Is there a “best age” for Invisalign?

Invisalign clear aligners are suitable for a wide range of ages, as long as patients are committed to wearing their aligners for 20-22 hours a day and responsible enough not to lose the trays. We’ve treated patients aged seven to 80 with Invisalign. Whether you’re curious about Invisalign for your child or wondering about the difference it can make for you as an older adult, we’re here to help.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Any discomfort you feel as you switch to a new set of aligners should be temporary. In fact, any discomfort can signal that your treatment is working as intended — applying the right amount of pressure to gradually shift your teeth.

Do you provide Invisalign attachments?

Yes. We can use tooth-colored buttons to enhance results by giving us more control over how your teeth move. Your dentist will consult you on how attachments may be able to accelerate your treatment or address more complex issues, like rotated teeth or extrusions.

Will I get a retainer once treatment is complete?

Yes. We provide custom retainers that prevent your teeth from moving back to their original positions. You may also be able to use your final set of aligners as a retainer. Your dentist will go over how long you should wear your retainer after your treatment is complete.

What disqualifies you from using Invisalign?

You might not be a good candidate for Invisalign if you have active gum disease, cavities, or other serious oral health concerns. If you have a complex case or severe dental misalignment, traditional orthodontic options like braces may be required to deliver the results you desire.

Does Invisalign cost more than braces?

Invisalign is comparable to the cost of braces. Ultimately, the price of your treatment will depend on the severity of your case. The more aligners you need, the higher your cost will be. Dental insurance should contribute to the cost of your treatment, and we accept most plans. We're happy to file your claim on your behalf.
